I gave a 1938 anti-semitic board game (Juden Raus) a “10” rating on the most popular board game review website, BoardGameGeek, and was banned officially for this reason, as I was told today via email. I didn’t review it, simply clicked 10 from the 1-10 rating scale, I’ve never posted or reviewed anything on their website, just occasionally rate and bookmark games. They also IP banned me so that I can’t navigate the site even if I’m not logged in, whether through my phone or computer, on or off WiFi even with VPN. Never been warned or suspended before. I’ve heard of people getting banned from websites for posting support of such things, but getting IP banned over a simple rating? Seems a bit much.
