Walmart was almost empty today. Like half their business is SNAP. I literally slept in the parking lot and nobody noticed.

I got all of my grocery shopping done and plan to stay home all weekend. I also gassed my car up, WHICH IS IMPORTANT, because the SNAP shoppers are always in the gas stations. I'm going to stay at home, alcohol at the ready, looking for livestreams of riots. I have family and friends who are reporting for work at Walmart tomorrow. I am worried about them.

But what is probably going to happen here is the government will do something at the 11th hour to keep the animals fed.

Same. Big batch of chili, watch football and stay comfy. Live in a gated community on the outskirts of DFW. If they make it this far, they'll be easy picking to snipe from a distance. Plenty of food, ammo, gas, generators(s), 2 cords of firewood, long rifles, pistols, ammo, thermal sites and armed neighbors. Basically everything but Claymores on the perimeter.

The most important thing is to have a plan and understand that your plan will have to adapt as you go.
What state are you in and do you have an egress plan?
Do you live in a house or apartment?
If shit goes completely sideways, you're going to have to get out of the city, if you're in one.
I'm in a state that's as red as the needle can go and far enough out that it's a LONG walk.
You might be able to start a chimpout in downtown, but everyone here has guns, a LOT of guns, and not just a willingness to use them, a genuine desire to take care of business.
A can of bear spray is quite the crowd pleaser, especially the ones that look like a fire extinguisher.
If you're dealing with a lone Jogger; however, a brandished pistol or quick spray from one of those small pepper spray cans is enough,and using your big can of bear spray might be overkill and a waste.

I usually shop on the weekends as well, but with SNAPocalypse looming I did my shopping this week. You have to keep in mind that this isn't necessarily a safety issue. It is a SUPPLY issue. If they riot and raid the stores will have bare shelves.

I live innawoods with my family and always keep about 1 month of fresh food on hand, also have like 6 months food storage.
Only I go to the big city for work 3 days a week so I'll probably just have a gun in my truck and avoid nigger areas.

I think you're really unaware of how sprawlling and massive some of America's suburbs are. Like sure some are right next to a main city. But at suburb has another suburb next to it and that suburb has ANOTHER one your like 30-40 minutes drive away from the city.
