Honestly, I wish I had a different upbringing and want raised around drunks and has been taught to exercise stress away and deal with various stressors and anxieties and etc in more healthy manners. Drug use has basically been the single most destructive aspect of my life.
And will probably cost me my life, eventually as I used to bong hit loose tobacco while high on a variety of speedy drugs and God knows what, anything I could get my stupid, desperate hands on. Careening from withdrawal to withdrawal and not even understanding it was withdrawals, maybe, and not "just how I am"?
And ding even get me started on how damaging and dumb 12 step and SMART recovery are. Ffs.

Same, went on a skitrip with a couple of friends when i was 15 that was organized by the father of one of my friends who was a teacher there. That guy smuggled a bottle of vodka red and white to the trip. Me and one guy almost drank the two bottles alone, he was lying in a puddle of his own vomit whereas i was lets say was at first making some rhymes about the tits of the girls in our class (which was then told to them a week after) and then also was laying in the puddle of my own vomit.
