then of course since we're in the Balkans there's a decent amount of people who have direct personal benefit from the party he's built whether through giving themselves government contracts and overcharging or literally just being paid $20 to vote or because contributing to the party keeps the law away from their various "business dealings" you know what I mean, it's a fucking corruption club
but what truly keeps him in power is total demoralization, for every vučić voter there is an abstinent who hates his guts but hates the opposition too and I do not blame them in the fucking slightest, they might well be controlled opposition at this point
so why isn't there a capable opposition? cause anything like that gets bought out or decides to go for a swim in a filthy river in bumfuck nowhere in the middle of winter
