There is an AI bubble and it's almost definitely gonna burst, but that doesn't mean AI will go away. When the internet was new, there was a huge internet bubble, everything and everyone was hopping on and advertising "NOW ONLINE!" even when it made no sense, same as they're doing with AI right now. And then the internet bubble popped, lots of people lost lots of money, but here we are.

I'm skeptical about V2K. If that technology exists and is discussed openly online then why don't private companies sell similar technology as a product? It's brain-computer interfacing. Why would private companies and startups like Neuralink be progressing so slowly in coming out with scifi BCI technology if nation-states have had it for 20+ years? I know governments have superior technology to corporations but isn't the gap realistically 2 years, 5 years, 10 max? Why don't highly intelligent and educated experts working for TSMC or ASML who understand where electronic devices and communications are at infer that this is currently possible and spread the word in the corporate world and ultimately mass media? How is it possible to produce and contain shit that's so far ahead of what you can buy at the Apple store for so long, swiping away all of the greedy people who would like to make a huge profit off it?
