This started in Santa Monica California 20 years ago. All the niggers and spics from Long Beach and Los Angeles started driving their kids to the rich neighborhoods. Even that long ago trick or treat would turn their affluent neighborhoods into gridlock. This never sat right with me. As children Trick or Treat was always a self-contained event within each neighborhood. It was a great was for children to learn the area and meet neighbors. Truly communal. As someone who always liked Halloween, but was never really obsessed with it, I believe these ghetto fuckers have perverted the very heart and soul of the holiday. I now see why it was so special and important to us and they have shit on it in every way. Also the spics are way worse than anyone else about non-costumed parents asking for candy. Trick or treating is an opportunity for the younger ones to get out and have some fun. Dressing up is an important part of both the tradition and the fun. It’s a good chance for parents and their kids to connect. Older kids have the means to attend a costume party without their parents; many have jobs and can afford their own candy. A lot of the overseas soldiers would sponsor the host country’s kids to trick or treat on base or join a base sponsored party. I started seeing this happen about ten years ago. Used to see black mothers with 3-5 bags and one kid just BARELY dressed (usually with some minor bloody face paint or a wig on, hardly a costume) and they'd tell me the other bags were for their kids who were "sick and couldn't make it".

A few years of that and I quit giving out. Most of these kids weren't even dressed up. They were just walking the street with bags asking for free stuff. I'm not a food bank, not a soup kitchen. So I keep my porch light off and my gate locked. Let them beg and grovel someplace else.

I helped with Trunk or Treat in my childhood small town this year and was surprised at the number of white kids.
It does seem like holidays are dying, but it went well overall.

This is solved by having two bowls, one for white neighborhood kids, and one for the ethnic jungle that gets bussed in. I'm sad that we live in a town for the first time in our lives (always been very rural) and we get zero kids because it feels like there's designated areas with how common it is for people to drive their kids to different towns or neighborhoods. The last place we lived was better eventhough it was rural because everyone drove to the town square and went to the 15 or so homes around it and had fun and games on the square. My wife and I used to drop off bags of candy to each of the houses because they had to do the heavy lifting for the whole area.
