Theres an Indian restauraunt right wher i live and i go there pretty often because the food is good and i like it there but i absolutly hate Indians in general
They are loud obnoxious and just rude my workplace has bunch of them because there cheaper than normal people and the fuck up everything they touch

We could just do what we used to do, have a small cultural exchange district with a bunch of "little indias" or "China towns" and what not. The "key" to indian cuisine is chopping/grating the onions really finely and cooking it until brown, it just takes a while because it releases a lot of water. Then add garlic/ginger. Then garam masala/curry powder to taste. Wa lah

In short while they may have been better in another time on average a large majority of them are ill built for modernity once you account for their cultural development over the past 500 years to be honest.
You can still find nuggets of quality with them but it's isolated and often those parts tend to self segregate from other Indians for a reason
