This isn't what Hitler did by the way. Hitler (correctly) judged that any country that isn't a great power will never really be able to control its own destiny. When he got to power after the Depression, he took on massive amounts of debt to rearm Germany. He always had his sights set in the East, and as such he prepared to invade. Had the West not gotten involved, they likely would've won. Ultimately I do think Hitler was overzealous, but he didn't just start arbitrarily declaring war on everyone not like him.

After a year of starvation, the Azerbaijani military started to move in, and 99% of the Nagorno Karabakhers fled within a few days into Armenia, thus accomplishing a largely bloodless ethnic cleansing. Hitler, too, when he was trying to cleanse Europe of Jews, sought to send them to Palestine or the West, but neither the British nor the Americans would accept them.
