Both statements are true. Democrats want to fund healthcare (for illegals) and ACA subsidies extended and fund USAID style faggotry abroad. They want an additional $1.5T in spending. They are holding the country hostage until their demands are met
Republicans said before the initial CR vote and since then that ACA subsidies can be negotiated later because it's funded through year end. The ACA subsidies would be being discussed and worked out now if democrats didnt shutdown the government

Illegals do receive healthcare in the US and this is bad. The specific things the Democrats are asking for do not directly provide care to any illegals. They get care from a number of different programs authored from 1987 straight up until 2025, but not either of the one Democrats are asking for. If Republicans got everything they want, the same number of illegals would be eligible for care, it's just that there will be less funding in the pools that both illegals and citizens share. It's kinda like shutting off all water to your house because your sink is dripping.
