When i first came here i was a young teen too shy to talk to people, on friend even more retarded than i was, smoking, drinking, getting ghigh... no prospects, no future.
Now i'm sitting in my cozy appartment, my wife and toddler son sleeping one room over. Tomorrow what awaits me at work is my own research, something i would give my left nut to do, and i even get paid for it. Well enough that within a year i can buy a nice house with a yard a half hour drive aways from work.
I got scared, i worked hard, suffered, and my labor is bearing fruit. Life is good now. Better than i ever imagined it being. This is not a brag, i just hate this doomer shit. Life can get better. If you work for it. If you put in effort. If you learn. With humility.

Why don't you just set up a tent for a while? There's a 1000km walking trail in my state that has free bunkhouses every 20km or so. Some people literally live on the trail for years going back and forth.
