I used to live on that pass. Wolf Creek claims people in really weird fucking ways. There was a hurricane force wind that ripped a tree out of the ground and launched it into a couple's windshield and every other year some truck just flies off one of the switchbacks. It's super dangerous if you're retarded but a really fun drive if you have a manual transmission.

Not how it works when you're hauling 40 tons, you need jakes and good brake management. Everything you think you know about driving goes out the window when you're in a rig hauling a full load. Fun story from my FIL
