I honestly can't think of any future where that's not part of the equation. We need a situation where they can't vote, can't work, and can't use social media/dating apps. You're never going to convince them to give up all of that shit; they have to be forced. The only other possibility would be shit hitting the fan so hard (like a giant war on US soil), but that would probably give rise to authoritarianism anyway.

It's unsolvable. Men are adapted to treat women with kid gloves and women are adapted to take men for all they're worth. Not enough men will ever come around on the woman question to solve it prior to total collapse. America built itself up as a republic, and it's downfall into shit started when the individual was given the right to vote. The whole 'only white land owning males can vote' effectively worked out to one vote per family. Seeing as how the family unit is the smallest division of people that still functioned like a nation, the system excelled.
