Boomers were so enthralled with the TV they used to run ads saying "do you know where your children are?" around 10pm to remind them they had progeny that needed attention, something no generation before or since needed. Those ads stopped when their kids grew up even though today there's far more distractions. If it was still a problem, there would be nightly alerts on phones, streaming platforms, and computer pop ups built into the OS for the "you have kids" reminder. The fact there isn't further supports the mass stupidity of the boomer.
