I lost 25 pounds recently, which brought me from 175 to 150. I'm 50 years old and my cholesterol was up.

>black coffee and a yogurt for breakfast
>45 minute cardio and weights workout.
> protein shake
>sardines and low sodium V8 for lunch
>black coffee after lunch
>grilled chicken salad with carbonated water for dinner
>an apple and almonds snack after dinner if needed, but not necessary

When I don't eat, I feel like half the man I am. I can handle the hunger and the sickness, but not the unforgiving brain fog and lethargy. Your brain needs calories. Mostly carbs. I'd much rather bloatmax and die from a heart attack in my 50s but be able to bench 3 or 4 pl8 than look crisp and lean like Tyler Durden but look at everything I once enjoyed and think "what's the point?" That's what happens when my brain is starved.

Sardines are amazing. I started eating sardines with eggs and a bit of salad recently and the portion size is small, but I feel fuller for longer

Sweet potato is really nutritious and filling. Paired with some meat, it keeps me full most of the day. I can eat it until I can barely move and lose weight.
