Why is the black academic community so adamant on "doing for themselves" and "achieving black excellence" but have no problem accepting donations from rich white people? It's almost as if it's a giant club that's blissfully unaware of a collapsing job market that awaits them, but they'll surely have their hands out when massa throws them a bone.
Is this white guilt?
