White guy here. I moved to the Silicon Valley for a tech job making six figures and I've never felt so broke in my life... I don't qualify for free healthcare, my student loans weren't absolved, no UBI and in San Jose I feel like Im one of the only 1000 white people that live in this city. The food is fucking great and having weekend trips to either SF or Santa Cruz has been nice but Its not sustainable. Newsom is all talk and he's just going to keep importing shitskins while that favor Trump allows these tech companies to hand jobs to jeets and chinks.

No healthcare is free, but people have a job convincing anyone of the fact that paying for it would cost less than what it currently does. Big med/pharma and insurance get too much money to not brainwash the populace into paying them and sticking everyone into inescapable medical debt. Depending on the implementation and tax bracket, a person may not even see a cost.

In its current form, absolutely. I say this as someone who plays with stocks to get profit. It's all a ponzi scheme. If you know how USD comes into being, it becomes even more obvious. We haven't had real money in a long time and it's part of why everything is shit in current year. This isn't an argument in favor of UBI, however; if it becomes a reality it'll likely be in a centralized form, which gives the government way too much power for anyone's liking. This is a criticism of fiat and irresponsible/corrupt economics.

No party has offered anyone a single scrap of dignity except to the entities that pay them the most. That they convince anyone otherwise is pretty dangerous. The only difference is that one wants to invest in latent value and cost cutting, and the other wants to invest in more obvious profits. Traditional application of morality doesn't scale, and no politician or system is your friend. To them, you are a vote and labor points, not a person. A means to generate capital for siphoning and pass dollars around for velocity to temporarily offset minority hoarding. Anything seeming to the contrary is puppetry to extract this value.

And yet all the people plugged into the political brainrot of today see are retarded divisive social issues, it's why Trump's approval rating has been crashing through the floor while the democrats manage to perform even worse in opinion polling.
Those who bankroll the political system know what the American people want, but they absolutely under no circumstances can give it to us because doing so means giving up power. So instead, they co-opt the idea of economic populism in order to destroy it. That guy you voted for, who said we'd "fight the system" and help regular Americans? He's part of the system and only helps the billionaires that got him elected. The system builds up resistances to anti-system rhetoric by amplifying and controlling it. And why wouldn't they? The power apparatus is like a faceless corporation, full of ostensibly opposing forces such that whenever that faux-freedom-fighter that gets elected falls flat in actual policy, he can just go "aw shucks guys, looks like ['other side'] blocked us with their lawfare, next time you vote me in I promise I'll finish what I've started!"
Meanwhile, people get more desperate. They'll vote for an unlikeable businessman because he promised to fuck up the system. They'll vote for a pro-billionaire "socialist" because he promised to fuck up the system. And maybe they'll vote for a yuppie governor who has two millennial aides schizopost for him on twitter when he runs for the presidency when he promises to fuck up the system. And yet the system flourishes while the left and right pass the blame for bipartisan fuckups and bicker over social issues designed to distract from class issues.
