netherlands and belgium are probably the most degenerate shitholes in the whole of the western part of the EU. Its because of its tolerant stance on psychoactive drug use such as marijuana and shrooms. Not to mention the silent tolerance of illegal psychoactive substances like cocaine and speed. I really dont like living here, due to lack of general attention for health. Everything is based on interpretations of the current prevailing ideology. Its commonly believed that degenerate behavior should be tolerated because then it goes away. So its an open taboo. Its also illegal to speak of it, its hate speech. these issues go all the way back to protestanism. Even though, belgium was originally catholic, its a tolerant shithole too. there is no general view of providing solutions to problems, tolerance is seen as the only solution to problems. everyone that doesnt like tolerance, except or some vocal right wingers, are all just silently ingoring all that tolerance. excluding every degerante is the only way to continue to function in society. ironic, you have to reject society to keep functioning in it.

i think not, the whole spiritualization of tangible factors like health is part of the problem. its neseccary to understand the diference between tangible factors and intangible ones. spiritualizing health is part of the problem because spirituality is intangible and health tangible. tangible solutions for tangible problems, and intangible solutions for intangible problems. mixing them up is a problem. society is very atomized in west europe, belgium and netherlands too. so many poeple, just like your spiritualization bullshit argument focus on belief systems as solutions to social problems, while the obsession with whats the correct beliefsystem is part of the problem.
