China has literally nothing good going for them. They're playing on nightmare mode. Zeihan doesn't have a single nice thing to say about them. Not a single one. Frankly, I'm amazed at how China hasn't collapsed yet. Their situation is super fucked. Zeihan's take on China is sobering and one of the harshest redpills on any country I've seen a professional geopolitical analyst give to any country. He even says that Russia has a brighter future than them. He says that China will be a Haiti tier failed state within a decade guaranteed by all this various factors. China is so fucking done, it's completely over for them. They are already dead

They're not that badly off even if they can't grow enough food to feed their whole population, China just squeezed massive concessions out of the Americans after the tariff war. Also, China and Russia have significantly strengthened their ties after the Ukraine war and there's the whole BRICS thing too.

Some of these points are just retarded or outdated. China has problems, you can't grow rice or basedbeans on tundra and I wouldn't want to live there, but as things stand they're better off than however this list makes it out to be. If the push comes to shove the chinks have more social cohesion than the Westerners who have to share their living space with rabid niggers and ragheads, when the gibs run out and people have to start tightening their belt the problems will become infinitely worse

Biggest problem China has is that its a huge food importer, food self-sufficiency for them decreased by 27.8% from 2000 to 2020 and obviously their demographics are pretty bad in terms of age structure, still 93% han chinese though so miles ahead of America imo
