They learned what blacks have known all along: doesn’t matter if you’re a peaceful church going civilised citizen, whites will still always hate you because you’re brown, so there’s no point trying to appease them.

Trump and Sherrill are being used as proxies for which party voters lean toward.

Trump wasn't on the ballot this year, and Sherrill wasn't on the ballot in Edison last year; she was a candidate for a different district.

>Trump and Sherrill are being used as proxies for which party voters lean toward

Which is merely guesswork because despite how partisan this nation is, people STILL vote for the candidate. Notice how much lower the voter turnout was in the Sherrill race to see what I'm referring to. Not only does Trump have far more support among independents than the GOP candidates typically do, but he also drives people out to vote for him (and against him). You just don't see that when he's not on the ballot.

When Republicans now run on a platform of simply doing whatever Trump says, he is on every ballot.

>Republicans now run on a platform of simply doing whatever Trump says

Can you show where Jack Ciattarelli or his campaign said they were running on doing whatever Trump says, rather than his own positions as relevant to NJ?

Here is Jack's website, with all the issues his campaign says he is running on. You won't even find Trump mentioned on the page btw.

>"a factor"
>random, unsourced poll without its methods disclosed
>still doesn't show Trump was on the ballot

Serious question: did you honestly think your image proved anything?

I didn't know the methodology of exit polls were in some way controversial, but whatever you need to do to cope

Even if Trump was "a factor" in voting (assuming the poll is accurate), that's not at all the same as the suggestion I was arguing against, that "Republicans now run on a platform of simply doing whatever Trump says."

I have proven that Jack did not run on that platform. Therefore I win.

You can see Jack's issues on his campaign page. Not a single word about Trump. But you can see an entire section on jews.
https://www.jack4nj.com/issues

Have you considered that the reason for Jack losing the election is because he openly and proudly supported Israel during a period in which support for Israel is at an all time low? That seems far more likely given it is literally one of the primary issues of his campaign according to his own website.

You're right, I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that exit polls show people voting to repudiate Trump's agenda in basically the exact same ratios that Republicans candidates are getting trounced by, it's probably the jews or something.
