That's one of the reasons why khokhols are losing. They even managed to turn a lot of libshit Russians against themselves with this behaviour, and that's a benign example too.
Their only chance was to make Russians rise up against Putin. In turn they made Russians support SMO, even though most really were on the fence at the beginning. Like thinking - are we the baddies? Turns out no, SMO really is justified and everything Kremlin propaganda "lied" about turned out to be true.
