The problem with MAGA now is that all of the 2016 energy / optimism died with the election of Biden and now Trump can only ever articulate spite, which was only half his draw to begin with. It's not enough to just have hate as your platform. There has to be some kind of light at the end of the tunnel, which isn't being conveyed at all in MAGA messaging now.
