get a "fun" job if your still young ( over 25 isnt young). Just get a gf, at that age you just need a little money and your good, don't take this shit seriously.

On another note, I enjoy using cheat engine on old emulated games to inject custom assembly code into them. It's interesting going into console games I played as a kid and seeing behind the curtains, so to speak. Would recommend.
