Why don’t we go back to the moon?
People say this because they think world governments are hiding something up there. The truth is we don’t know how. It’s lost technology. These machines were all built by top German and Anglo engineers decades ago, many of whom have died without their knowledge ever properly being written down or passed on correctly. Remember this shit was all done on analogue. Even if you could maintain it, there’s not enough white men to do it. Who are you going to get to build you lunar modules that can carry people now? Faggots? Pajeets? Women?

The only way we could restart space exploration is if we got AI to do all the work, but we know that AI will be used to make us into some kalegrian NWO prison planet before actually being put to use for humanity.

maybe we need more sand.
> A South African entrepreneur shot dead in September. Two Indian villagers killed in a gun battle in August. A Mexican environmental activist murdered in June.
>Though separated by thousands of miles, these killings share an unlikely cause. They are some of the latest casualties in a growing wave of violence sparked by the struggle for one of the 21st Century’s most important, but least appreciated, commodities: ordinary sand.
>Trivial though it may seem, sand is a critical ingredient of our lives. It is the primary raw material that modern cities are made from. The concrete used to construct shopping malls, offices, and apartment blocks, along with the asphalt we use to build roads connecting them, are largely just sand and gravel glued together. The glass in every window, windshield, and smart phone screen is made of melted-down sand. And even the silicon chips inside our phones and computers – along with virtually every other piece of electronic equipment in your home – are made from sand.

>no dust
the moon has no atmosphere. dust doesn't blow around.
if you were to pick up a handful of lunar dust and drop it, it would fall straight down.
also in some pics there is dust on the lander legs it depends on how it lands since dust goes straight up and down and doesn't blow around.
>got tracks
the special open-mesh wheels didn’t leave deep tracks, but they did leave shallow tracks when the dust was deep enough that are visible from space.
also the astronauts would often walk around the vehicle which can rub out the tracks with their boots, which is what happened here.
they just repaired the broken dust cover, and took a photo.
also they would often lift the vehicle and spin it around to go back instead of turning it while driving.
some parts of the moon there is no deep layer of dust to leave tracks in.
not to mention they took pics of the rover after assembly and before driving it around.
>got blast craters
apollo lunar module had an antenna that when it came into contact with the lunar surface would trigger a light inside the craft.
This light would be a signal to the astronauts to shut off the engine.
Hence, the engine would be shut off before the craft landed.
also the depth of lunar regolith varied across landing sites from feet to inches deep and some landers did leave a shallow blast crater.
>got shadows
the lunar surface reflects around 8 per cent of the sunlight that falls on it (albedo), illuminating areas – like buzz aldrin coming down the lunar module ladder – that might seem like they should be in shadow.
sunlight was also reflected off the aluminized kapton foil on the lunar lander and the white spacesuits, as well as off Earth itself as ‘earthshine’ and the sun.

>Dust still has mass and would float around due to inertia. You don't need an to inertia.
>no tracks just because, OK!
Shut up
>itnliterslly runs on an inertia reaction engine but THERE WOULD BE NO CRATER BECAUSE OF A LIGHT
Shut the fuck up faggot. The crater would be developed as they landed from all the pressure of fuel hitting the surface
>muh lunar albedo
Now recognize that you can reflect a laser back at you from the moon's surface WITHOUT the alleged retroreflector they left.

You can't ask Ford to make a '76 Ford Mustang that will match the materials and processes used back in '76

Most of the facilities that were used to hold the Saturn V were repurposed for the Space Shuttle, so they are no longer appropriate
But we can make better rockets, which we've already seen with Artemis I

It's actually not just dirt. The moon is the result of a Mars-sized planet (Theia) crashing into Earth soon after it cooled (~4.5 billion years ago) turning Earth molten again. When things cooled down again, the proto-moon had gathered up the debris from both Earth and Theia into what is now Luna. So there is a lot of Earth and Theia in the Moon.

The gravity is too high to be really useful. It's ~1/6 G which is still too high to make manufacturing techniques that rely on microgravity worth the expense of locating on Luna. If a certain technique requires vacuum processing, that can be achieved on Earth.

Luna falls outside of the majority of Earth's magnetic field, so it's not quite hard radiation at the surface, but it's close. That is one reason among many that we will NEVER (EVER) colonize Mars.

We would be much better off creating habitats underwater. The lessons learned by doing that well would be applicable in the space environment.

Centrifugal force is a tiny fraction of the force of gravity

Also, rotational speed is not measured in linear velocity (miles per hour) but rotational velocity (degrees per hour)
Get on one of those rides and spin at 15 degrees per hour (half as slow as the hour hand on a watch) and then tell me about the forces
