To those with sisters, is anyone else a bit demoralized by how they're progressing?

My sister is 4 years older than I am, she's now 31 and I'm 27. She is soon to buy a house. She travels and has many many friends and a successful career (nursing)

I am a recently laid off CS grad. I was only working for 2 years. Now I can't find work. I'm horribly introverted while she has always been good with people. I did everything right, or so I thought.

And she's gotten a lot of financial help over the years from my parents. She got a car when she graduated. I still kept my same old Toyota truck that I got in high school. She may get help with a down payment on said house. Meanwhile I get nothing.

I guess to sum this up, is this a common sentiment, women doing better than men after college?

My sister has a high finance job in NYC, and met her husband on a dating app, who is also a high finance guy.
They make loads of money. She doesn’t want kids, and due to a life long medicine she takes, it’s not even an option for her. She’s cool with me. Also she’s like 2 years younger, so we’ve always been pretty close

You are right regarding the difference in our careers, I don't discount she has a demanding job or had a rigorous path to get to where she is, I dunno where I'm going with this. Just kinda frustrated that somehow she has everything despite me having very little. It's not hate, just truth be told, it's jealousy.

Statistically women are doing amazing in the job market. The reason you see constant posts on 4chan of "career women" ready to settle down is because they bought into the lie and married their job/career.

Men have been kept out of the job market through immigration, outsourcing, women HR, diversity hiring etc.

The next 5, 10, 15, 20 years are going to be a crazy ride. TONS of career women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s etc. regretting their career life.

Bro I couldve written that post in a different timeline. My older sister (and only sibling) has it all, doctorate, big paycheck, big house. I know she worked hard yada yada, but there's so many advantages she got along the way to get her there. It's more a mixed bag for my senpai. One sister has a cushy six-figure desk job and a mortgage, doesn't need no man (but likes to have a beta simp cuck giving her attention). I'm dissapointed in my sister. About all she wants to do is get high on Adderall and do busy work. No husband, no kids, no bf, no nothing. Just an empty 1 bedroom apartment.
