From what I've read I remember him making a clear distinction in his approach to nihilism and christianity, because nihilism was related to how he approached Schoppenhauer's philosophy and how incomplete it was due to being inherently pessimistic and not life affirming, though right on its reading of reality being devoid of a great meaning. Meanwhile, christianity has all to do with slave morality and all of that part of his philosophy. I don't remember a point in which he equates both, unless you want to equate them due to both of them lacking that life affirming part.
