Far-left political circus has finally arrived in Baltics. It's never been more over.

Context: Over 10,000 people in Riga protested against Latvia's withdrawal from Istanbul Convention. Latvia's parliament voted in favour of withdrawal the previous week. However, President Edgars Rinkēvičs vetoed the decision and referred it back to parliament for further discussion. Following the president's refusal to give his consent, the parliament decided on Wednesday to postpone deliberations on the issue until after parliamentary elections in October 2026.

Unfortunately, what this happening has shown is that they're leftists are fully in power now. Between how they got EVERY news outlet in the country to shill their position on this matter and demonize the decision to withdraw, and how effectively they organized thousands of their retarded zoomer footsoldiers to come out on the streets and protest for days. Nobody else in the country has that kind of political power and energy right now. I suspect that in the next election JV and Progressives will get enough votes to form a coalition without any of the centrist parties. It will be full-blown western style gay race communism.
