Technically the House convicts and the Senate votes on removal
Donald Trump has been impeached (i.e. convicted) twice, but in both cases the Senate voted against his removal.
Interestingly, a member of his own party voted in favor of his removal during the 2019 impeachment proceedings, and multiple members of his own party voted for his removal in 2021, just not enough to reach the threshold of 66 votes.
Given no Senator has ever voted in favor of removing a President from his own party from office before the 2019 impeachment proceedings, that makes the Trump impeachments legally, literally the most bipartisan impeachment proceedings in the nation's history.
