I haven't cared about politics since Trump won reelection. Even then, it was mostly about emotional payback for COVID lockdowns and their behavior from 2020-2022ish.
The US seems mostly fucked. If it's not collapsing, it's going to undergo a lot of changes in the next few years. Seems like as predicted, there's a lot of soft balkanization going on. Which is fine so far, the US was originally designed to be like different little countries with a minimal overarching federal government. I'll worry if states start enforcing travel restrictions.

Point is, seems like now is a time to look out for yourself and people you care about and not worry about politics too much. Especially online. 90% of it feels artificial. Almost every post you're left wondering if not which group is paying them, then which group is this a volunteer shill for. It's not even just big nation-state factions either. On the local level, volunteers organize, juggle social media accounts, and astroturf the living shit out of everything. You can't read something on nextdoor.com or a local facebook group anymore without everything being astroturfed to shit, even your local library staff is astroturfing something.

You're supposed to read between the lines, understand the direction of the future and what is needed to alter it and then most importantly fucking move on with your life.

The goal for them is the status quo, the goal is to demoralize you into doing nothing but you can do something, simply live your life and thrive. This board/culture gives you the tools to understand what exactly you need to do to thrive, to get ahead and by doing this you become powerful/influential enough to actually affect change in the landscape.

Go gym, try get a better job, move to a either a White dominated community or go live abroad somewhere cheap like Mexico/SEA, learn to invest/compound your wealth, learn how to converse, learn how to network, etc. You win and we win when you do this, it really is that simple. I'm not trying to make money with it. I bought it two years ago and have been raking leaves, moving gravel, grading , trimming trees and bushes, cutting down trees, had an old unusable house burned down by the local volunteer fire department, cleaning that up.

No one had done any upkeep or maintenance on it for 30 years.
