Don’t tax BTC or crypto. Just make crypto exchanges and sports gambling illegal. The crypto bankers are financial criminals. The far left unfortunately believes all crypto is bad, because right wing crypto holders corrupted the government. The biggest owners of crypto have ruined politics. If they target the end user they fucked up. They should encourage people to use BTC and not tax it at all. However the exchanges and gambling, PAC donation people are the bad guys.

The best thing that could happen to BTC is if people were forced to exchange work, goods and services, and IRL cash for it. So people can’t easily send their retirement funds to MelaniaCoin. Having crypto IRAs slowed BTCs rise to 1 million. Having lending and leveraged trades slowed its rise, scammed people of their cash. Those people are illegit. The trading and banking harms the value and stability. Taxing further harms the value and stability of everything, and I don’t believe in punishing people for using their computer to try and get ahead.
