Who had the idea to hide the plumbing under the middle of a slab anyway? put it near the edge or just run it outside the wall.

The practice of hiding wires, pipes, and sometimes even toilet tanks behind sheet rock and tiles is completely fucking insane. Whenever I repair something in the wall I replace it with a removable panel with wallpaper, tiles and/or wainscoting. Kind of like the Jeffreys tubes on star trek
