Or, call it "Single Payer", where the government pays for your healthcare. Just as predicted when Obamacare was forced thru on a Sunday in the House, in a weird session where Jesse Jackson Jr. was sitting as parliamentarian and ruling against every Republican procedural objection, and it passed by 1 vote.
That Obamacare was just a step on the road to single payer, because it was easier to get passed at the time.

Trump should just close congress down. Nobody like the US congress. Have an Emergency Broadcast on all radio/TV/internet that he's shut the congress down because they're useless, corrupt, and are threatening the safety of the country. Then, without lobby groups able to lobby congress, he can go directly to the companies and force them to lower their prices by 90%, or he'll use the JSOC to eliminate C-suites and BoDs. Investors can take a hit, if they don't like it they can find a window to jump from.

Joking aside, UBI will never be a thing because it means people can have some peace of mind even when they lose their jobs, and a society at peace is no good for politicians and corporations. That reason ALONE is enough for it to never be a thing, ever, for any reason. At least not in the USA. It's GOOD for them if you are desperate and your life revolves around money and if you don't get enough of it you end up committing suicide. They need that to always be the case.
