In Canada you can get a large poutine for $15
We call this a “Montreal Screwjob" here in Québec (kweebeck for you outsiders). The best thing too is that you just wait in the cold at the truck near the depanneur where you buy your Molson at 2am tabnak and heat it up at home.

What food deals/ traditions do you have where you live?

We grow most of the fresh produce for North America.
It's basically like the garden of Eden here.
And yes, we still have hot carls.

Even the french look down on them, because they have words for 80 and 90.

I don't know whether I find it cute, or horifying that your mixing of a slight amount of french into english made me remember all of the few moments I have ever done the same saying things like MUCHO or HUEVOS realizing that I've said a word like that in between years of not saying a word like that.

I usually pay around that amount for a nice carne asada fries. Used to be $10 back when i was in high school and me and 2-3 buddies would get one to share. Now it's $15 but can still feed me for 3 meals. Vallartas has the cheapest, it's ok quality.

I don't know anon, I used to love them in highschool but only from the school cafeteria with currly fries!

Man, it had some special taste, the gravy was the best and not too salty, the fries were fresh and the chees was actually melted over it.

Chips, curds and gravy is different.

We get fried cheese curds and dip them in some anonymous tasty sauce. Less messy, tastes the same. The fry sog is gross, especially reheated.

Man, I wonder if it's tailored specifically milder to hooks us! Those bastards.

Would it be weird ro go to a highschool cafeteria and get one. lol

Ironically I work at one but I never ate there and I don't think they serve it there, they're too fancy.
