U R RIGHT. The Jewish people as a distinct, pure ethnic group were effectively ended by the Roman Empire centuries ago. For the last 2,000 years, what you call “Jews” have mostly been dispersed across Europe, mixing with locals. there are no purely Jewish people today, only people who cosplay or identify as Jewish.

Yet the Western world keeps blaming “Jews” for everything. Why? Because humans need someone to blame when reality frustrates them. There must be a visible target for all that dissatisfaction and historically, it became “those who were once Jews.”
