people in cities can get food pretty easily regardless. i saw a lot more people than usual lined up for food banks and church food handouts in the past few weeks
the people really in trouble would be those way out in the boondocks who can only get food from the store, and maybe 1 or 2 county or church charity food banks but those might be a ways away and driving an hour costs real money too.
anon who said things get paid in the middle of the month is just wrong, most things get paid on the 1st which is why if you go to walmart in a city the first few days of the month itll be full of families getting megacarts. people really have been without food aid for a few weeks, but theyve managed fine, in cities at least.
if you think about the subject, youll quicky realize that the urban disturbances of the past 100 years have basically ALL been about police brutality or seemingly unfair convictions, or they were at least started by such incidents. there hasnt been an actual "bread riot" in a loooong time, basically not since it wouldve been the irish rioting.
