I mean obviously anon, you are correct. There are many huge issues with the idea, but THE one in front for me is the idea that life could just "make it through" the sudden disappearance of the star that life evolved under up to the that point. Even with a hop to the current sun, the sudden shift in energy output and warmth would kill our environment and all life bete entirely.

I can neither confirm nor deny my involvement, anon. Sounds kind of like Muskisms about nuclear energy, which I am interested. I also think a mini nuclear reactor shipped to mars would help a lot. We NEED to start sending people there. Moon colony/mining, orbital constructions equipment, asteroid mining, and then mars/asteroid belt colonization. I dont think Musk knows a sentient Sun to base his ideas off of. SOL has no human style conciousness. So if I'm not ok with giving nuclear weapons to AI...I would hesitate to give Musk a pass when trying to summon a sentient, created star.
