I found the confession of Ghislaine Maxwell that her and Jeffrey were operating on behalf of the US government, in a blackmail operation in order to entrap wealthy and powerful individuals. Why did redactors miss it? Because the email chain is complex and confusing. 2 notes though:

On the 1st page:
"see below; at bottom, Ghislaine Maxwell's Jeffrey Epstein in context"
Referencing a direct letter written from Maxwell to WaPo.

Later scrolling down the letter describes circumstances around Jeffrey Epstein and his plea deal, it ends:
"This is best understood in the context of children being used as a means to government-sponsored sexual blackmail and other forms of leverage."
