Well he couldn't call it the universal, intercontinental or undisputed championship but he definitely could have called it something less gay than the UNIFIED championship. Worldwide championship? Or just keep it as international? Might as well just call it the midcard filler belt.

he should have called it the intercontinental championship, really just because it'd be funny, it makes sense to combine both the old title names, and it properly conveys that it is not a world title..
if he wasn't gonna do that, to me calling it "unified" almost sounds like undisputed AKA a world title, which i don't think it's supposed to be. that's also why he shouldn't call it the global or worldwide or whatever.
