Toni was the babyface of the story and the winner of the feud but it needed Mariah or Blake Monroe or whatever you want to call her for that to happen. Without her Toni's character is just some deluded ditzy schizo who makes endless sex jokes as we've seen in every other feud she had and has been in since. Mariah's performances brought all of the weight and gravity to theirs which is what allowed for the heavy drama and gave cause for all the violence. You don't reach those heights without a heel who can step up and be that despicable and evil. If you view Toni as the star then that just means Mariah did her job well
