They're at historic lows because the current era of basketball is full of parity and there are no juggernauts like the Warriors/Cavs who go at it every year. Like it or not, people like to see dominant teams.

OKC just had a 68 win season with the highest win share ever. SGA is having the best Playoff performance since Jordan.

NBA has the same problem as WWE where they continue to push old guys like Punk and Cena and Goldberg when there's clearly better young guys outperforming them. ESPN is just this week talking about Lebron and the Lakers instead of one of the most entertaining Finals we've seen in years.

OKC is in its first year of being a truly dominant team and SGA isn't as captivating of a personality of a Steph or Lebron. Also, they've been pushing Luka, Jokic, Tatum, and even started pushing Ant but they're drawing dimes like the old guard did, at least yet.
