I inherited a few million when my old man passed away. Bought myself a small apartment and invested a lot of it so I can just do what I want for the rest of my life.
I still work entry-mid level jobs just because I never really got out of that mindset of needing to work and I've never had so much fun in my life just fucking with managers and HR drones. They have no idea I'm a multi-millionaire and whenever they try and pull any shit on me or people I like I stand my ground or straight up tell them no. They crumple because they're weakminded and so used to everyone being too terrified of being fired to stand up for themselves.
It's so satisfying when they call in a higher up and you win them over by talking calmly and logically and they end up liking you more than the manager and basically tell them to stop wasting their time, this guy is a good employee etc. The seethe is real.

Addendum: Credit where credit's due - I learnt all the tricks of the trade from a based older union man I used to work with. He knew exactly how to fuck with management and knew all about the laws protecting employees etc.
