Look I'm just gonna give it to ya straight, I don't care about the console wars and the irony and the retardation, I'm jumping ship and going to AEW. It's so fucking bad. It's 2019 bad, it's 1995 bad, it's beyond grim and it's probably going to be a long, long time before it ever gets better again. So let's start with NXT, the welfare line. We all know most of those shitters are never going to make it to the main roster, Oba is an exception and I guess Sol Ruca for the girls. HBK does the best he can with the shit sandwich that's served to him on a weekly basis but once Oba leaves it's about as grim as grim can get. Now the main roster issues, the tired storylines, the same old shitters, the insufferable crowds just showing up to sing-along to the themes, I'm so fucking done with it all I'm never looking back. It's been so long since I've watched AEW on a regular basis that I welcome it at this point. Okada vs Omega part 35 might not be the most exciting event in the world but it's worth tuning into and I've got a Max subscription so fuck it. I'm done, it's never getting better.

I did. As per the usual with AEW, some of the matches felt much longer than they were (especially Mercedes Mone, my god what a shitter) but the crowd was hot and seemed thrilled to be there, that honestly elevates any show no matter the company.
