Press conference translation
>Arai: I’m Yuki Arai, the challenger for the Princess of Princess Championship. This upcoming event at Ota City General Gymnasium in July will be my first big match since graduating from SKE48 and focusing solely on professional wrestling. I spent about 12 years as a member of SKE48 starting when I was 15. I saw many things and truly felt that I had given it my all. At that time, people asked if I was going to retire from wrestling too, but honestly, I feel like I’ve only taken two or three steps forward as a pro wrestler — I still have a long way to go. There are more and more things I want to see and accomplish, and one of those is challenging for the white belt. So I’m really happy that I was able to earn this opportunity to challenge for the belt at a time when Mizuki holds it. I’ve had the chance to challenge for various titles before, but this is the first time I’ve actually won the right to challenge through a match. That gives me a lot of confidence, and since I earned this shot myself, I want to go into Ota City stronger than the version of myself who won the opportunity that day. Up until now, I was juggling both wrestling and idol activities, and that often made me feel like I was holding myself back — even when it came to juniors, I’d sometimes feel like I wasn’t good enough. But now that I’m solely a pro wrestler and standing on the same ground as everyone else, there are still many senior wrestlers I aspire to reach. Some of them once seemed so far away, but now I want to be among them — even one second sooner — and fight alongside them. I want to become a wrestler who can expand the world of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling even more. That’s why I want to take this white belt from Mizuki and lead TJPW forward. I’m going into this title match with the strong determination to win. Please support me.
>>18038786>Mizuki: Ever since this match was decided, I’ve honestly been thinking about it a lot. Arai-chan always surprises me, and I think she possesses so many kinds of strength. I truly respect her. That’s why I’m really happy to be able to fight her with this belt on the line. But… I’m not ready to give it up just yet. My feelings toward this belt, and all the emotions I’ve built up in Tokyo Joshi, are truly treasures of my life. So I want to give everything I have to convey this “treasure” to Arai-chan through our match. I can’t afford to lose. But beyond that, I want to show her something special — I want to show her my “treasure.”>Q: Arai, if you win the Princess of Princess title, you’ll complete the Grand Slam.>Arai: I wasn’t necessarily aiming for a Grand Slam, but I do think every step I’ve taken has led to this moment. Whether it was the title I held with Akai-san as “AA Cannon,” or the International Princess Championship where I fought many overseas wrestlers and set a defense record — all of those experiences have built up to now. So if I put everything into this match and win this belt, I think it will be something I can be truly proud of as Yuki Arai the pro wrestler. Of course, I want to aim for it.>Q: Mizuki, if you win the International Princess title, you would achieve a Grand Slam as well.>Mizuki: Right now, I’m doing my best just to cherish this belt I currently hold, so it’s a bit difficult to think about that… but it’s not like I’m not aiming for it (laughs).>Q: Mizuki, since this is Arai’s first challenge for this belt, do you feel a sense of unpredictable danger?
Why is Arai talking to herself?
>>18038796>Mizuki: When I first challenged for this belt, I was kind of floating — just full of the desire to win. But with Arai-chan, I feel like it’s not just that. She has incredible momentum too. I get the sense that she’s blazing through things I couldn’t achieve at such an early stage in her career. Honestly, yes, there is fear — but I’ve overcome so many fears already, so I’m not anxious.>Q: What kind of fight do you want to have in the lead-up matches?>Arai: We haven’t had a lot of direct interactions so far, so there are still a lot of things I don’t know about her. But as a challenger, I think momentum is important, so I want to scare her as much as possible!>Mizuki: I’ll do my best not to be scared! (laughs)>Q: Arai, how do you plan to scare Mizuki?>Arai: Mizuki-san might not seem like it, but she’s super strong, and I don’t think she’s afraid of anything. But from now until the Ota City show, I’m going to watch her more closely than necessary — really study her — and I will find something.>Q: Mizuki, within reason, can you tell us what you’re afraid of?>Mizuki: Ehh, what I’m afraid of right now? The heat, maybe? When I’m exposed to sunlight for too long, I run out of energy. So I guess I’m scared of the sun… but ghosts are scary too. And honestly, the scariest thing right now is how calmly Arai-chan is listening to this conversation.>Q: Arai, now that you know what she’s afraid of, any strategies?>Arai: Oh, I’ve pretty much got it figured out. First, on the morning of the show, let’s go out for breakfast together. A walk, breakfast, lots of sunlight. As for ghosts, I think I can set something up backstage at the venue. I’ll chip away at her mentally with those things. And since she said I’m a little scary myself, I want to train even harder over the next month so I can be an even scarier version of Arai when the time comes. Let’s go — morning walk and breakfast!>(Mizuki shakes her head “no”)
>Moka: This will be my third time challenging for this belt. I believe I’ve challenged for it more than anyone else. That’s because I want to use this belt to share the beauty of Japan — the spirit of Wa (Japanese harmony) — with the world. I have a background in karate, and I studied Japanese culture in university. I really love wa. That’s why my costume is in traditional Japanese style. I want to take this belt and show the world the beauty of Wa and of Japanese culture. I want to take this belt from Suzume. There’s still a month left until the Ota City show, and in that time, I want to elevate my Wa even further. Please support me.
>Suzume: I’m really happy to be able to have a title defense against Moka. Actually, Moka was one of the reasons I decided to go after the International Princess Title in the first place. Last year, I watched Arisu and Moka challenge Yuki-chan for this belt, and seeing those passionate matches among people of our generation really fired me up. So now, getting to face Moka as the champion is something that makes me incredibly happy. This will be my sixth title defense. Out of the five I’ve done so far, the one in America stands out as a truly significant match — both for me as a wrestler and as the International Princess Champion. Thanks to this belt, I’ve felt a lot of growth in the past six months. When I debuted, people saw me as having a “honeybee” kind of image, but lately, I feel like I’ve become stronger — like I’ve grown into a hornet. But that’s still not enough. I want to continue defending at this pace and become the queen bee. And summer — the season of the Ota City Gymnasium show — is the season when hornets become aggressive. So this is my season! I won’t lose. I’ll keep defending this belt and fly even higher.
>Q: What are your impressions of each other as fellow rookies from the same class?
>>18038814>Suzume: The strongest impression I have of Moka is that she has a strong core. But I also feel like there’s a lot about her that remains mysterious, even outside the ring. I wonder if the same applies to the ring as well.>Moka: To me, Suzume-san is the senior I’ve been closest to. Even before I knew how to take a bump, she was teaching me. She’s held not only the IP title but also the tag titles. She’s someone I want to surpass.>Q: This is your third challenge. Has your mindset changed compared to your previous attempts?>Moka: My mindset hasn’t changed. I go into every match with the intent to win. But with one more month to go, I want to use that time to keep building myself up even more.>Q: Other wrestlers from your class have achieved more. How do you feel about that?>Moka: I haven’t really felt inferior because of that. Of course, I’ve felt frustrated many times in the past, but I’m determined to move forward at my own pace.>Q: Suzume, which aspects of Moka are you cautious about?>Suzume: Just now, Moka said she plans to elevate her Wa before the Ota City show — and I’m already on guard wondering what that means! Also, besides her karate, Moka’s strength lies in her straightforward fighting spirit and emotional toughness. I’ll counter that by holding strong to my own feelings for this belt and refusing to lose.>Q: Moka, what do you mean by “elevating your Wa”?>Moka: I’ve been thinking of a few things. Just earlier, Suzume-san said she’s going to become a queen bee this summer, right? Well, Japanese techniques are truly amazing. I believe there are traditional Japanese methods for dealing with queen bees. So I want to explore that idea and come well-prepared.
>Rika: I’m Rika Tatsumi of Daydream. I think Kyōraku Kyōmei is the tag team we’ve fought the most, always pushing and challenging each other since their formation. I’ve always wanted to see Kyōraku become champions, and I also wanted to be the first to challenge them—so honestly, it feels like we’re late in doing so. For some reason, Daydream hasn’t been teaming or fighting together for about a year now. I’ve been eagerly waiting for Daydream to get moving again, and at SUMMER SUN PRINCESS '25, we’re going to cause absolute chaos.
>Miu: I’m just honestly happy that we’re getting another Kyōraku Kyōmei vs. Daydream match. Daydream went through a sort of “recharging period,” and now we’re stronger as individuals, ready to fight together again at SUMMER SUN PRINCESS. The first time we faced Kyōraku was five years ago at the same event. Daydream is now in its sixth year. We’ve evolved—not just changed, but truly evolved—and I’m really happy that we get to have this match under those circumstances. This summer, Daydream is going to steal the show. Let’s do this!
>Nakajima: As champions, I really wanted us to be the ones to defend against Daydream. But right now, I feel like we’re once again getting dragged into their world, just like always. When we were in the tournament to reach the belts, I fought with the mindset of taking down every team I had previously lost to. But Daydream’s name wasn’t in that bracket—and that left me with a bit of frustration, maybe even some anger. But now that they’re here, I’ve decided to let that go. When we took the belts from 121000000, I felt like we got one step closer to my ideal image of a perfect tag team. It gave me a real sense of accomplishment. Since then, we’ve defended the titles in Las Vegas and in Osaka against Asian opponents. With each match, I’ve come to believe that as champions, we need to keep getting bigger in scale...
>>18038832>...That’s why I’m so excited that we get to face Daydream at this timing—it couldn’t be more perfect. Especially because I lost to Miu Watanabe in a title match last year, and I haven’t beaten Rika Tatsumi in singles competition recently either. If I can beat both of them here, and if Kyōraku Kyōmei can defeat Daydream as a team, I think it’ll help us grow even more, both as wrestlers and as a tag team. So we can’t afford to lose. I want to defend the titles and eventually have defenses against even larger, more unique teams. Right now, I hold the MLW belt, and I’ve destroyed Los Angeles and Chicago with it. As a tag team, we want to do the same—go around wrecking towns through our title defenses. Please keep watching us!>Misao: Just like Nakajima said, I really wish we could have beaten Daydream during the tag tournament. Ideally, we would have taken the belts from 121000000 after that. That didn’t happen, and it’s something that’s been bothering me. So I’m really happy that now, as the strongest tag team, we get to face Daydream as the defending side. There’s still a part of me that’s hung up on the time I lost to Daydream—and that’s exactly why I want to take them down. Like Miu said, I think we’re the ones who understand each other best. Beyond this tag rivalry, I know more than anyone just how tricky Rika can be and how overwhelmingly powerful Miu is. When the two of them combine, they’re a frustratingly strong team—I know that from experience. But now, I feel like we can beat them. I’m genuinely excited. Honestly, I’ve always held Daydream in high regard. I used to see them as the most unpredictable team. But now, I want to take even that title of “most unpredictable” and make it ours—Kyōraku Kyōmei’s. We want to be an unpredictable, shape-shifting tag team. As champions, there’s still so much we want to do that we haven’t done yet. I became a wrestler because of street wrestling...
>>18038850>...So I want to turn locations all around the world into wrestling venues—whether it’s in the middle of a street or somewhere more unique. If we go to Texas, I want to wrestle at NASA’s space center. I really want to wrestle in space someday! Or maybe in Times Square in New York, or on top of the Tokyo Skytree in Japan. Or at some weird illusion-themed exhibitions or shady spots. I want to do street wrestling in those places. So if we successfully defend our titles, I ask all of you—companies, venues, individuals—please offer us places to wrestle! Let’s make it happen.
>>18039107You’re shoot retarded
ngl, when Suzume said summer is the season when she becomes aggressive, my dick kinda got hard
I think Moka is very pretty.
>Q: Other wrestlers from your class have achieved more. How do you feel about that?
>Moka: I haven’t really felt inferior because of that. Of course, I’ve felt frustrated many times in the past, but I’m determined to move forward at my own pace.

I’m worried about how the players will handle the Texas weather. It’s barely 90F in Tokyo, and they’re calling it a heatwave. Temps in Texas will probably be in the mid 90s when they arrive, and it’s not unusual for temps to get above 100 during the summer. Plus the humidity

I only support players who are against taxes.

>On June 14 and 15 (local time), Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling had a booth at "TOKYO X," a Japanese otaku culture event held in Houston, Texas, which drew a crowd of 30,000 attendees.
>With one month to go before the events, a large TJPW display panel was set up in front of the main gate at TOKYO X in Houston. Guests at the event included Noriko Hidaka, known for voicing Minami Asakura in Touch, and Toshihiko Seki, famous for voicing Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer. The venue was lively, with cosplayers dressed as Studio Ghibli and Sailor Moon characters. There were also hands-on experiences with sumo and judo, and food booths offering Japanese dishes such as omurice and yakitori, giving the event a strong sense of love for Japanese culture.
>At the TJPW booth, match footage was played on a monitor, and more women than men were observed watching intently—highlighting the popularity of women’s wrestling among female fans. While about half of the attendees were aware of pro wrestling in general, TJPW was virtually unknown among them.
>However, nearly every male visitor who stopped by enthusiastically said, “MAKI ITOH!” With smiles, they called her the “crazy girl” or said “kawaii!” (cute), expressing their affection—making it clear just how overwhelmingly popular Maki Itoh is in the U.S.
>Additionally, merchandise from the “TJPW × Armored Trooper VOTOMS” collaboration was being sold. Illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin, a guest at TOKYO X, happened to see the booth and was surprised, exclaiming, “These are goods I designed...!”
>After hearing about the concept of transforming Miyu Yamashita and Haruna Neko into Armored Troopers, Tenjin watched their matches and said he studied them closely. VOTOMS has its fanbase in Texas, and even those unfamiliar with TJPW purchased merchandise because of the VOTOMS collaboration.

sheets and the podcast are saying tony is trying to poach her to run creative
>>18043301dark and twisted but still wholesome
top fucking kek. the inability of autists to recognize faces is so funny
>>18043343How the fuck do you confuse Toga with Arisu
>>18042216One of wrestling’s great “what ifs” if true.
even jap fans are confused. misao out here brain fucking everybody.
>>18043449japanese people can be autistic too

they are also wondering the same thing as us.
>>18043474>some kind of originits from an early 2000s jav video
>androids were invented in the early 2000s by the Japanese porn industry
>>18043537Is she still attending school or did she drop out and just lives in Japan now?
>>18043587I don't think you can do that
>>18042452>Shit pisses me off because guys in the gooncord aren't posting themSure sounds like you are, poorfag.
>>18043597I figured, but then this is a long semester abroad. Unless it's for longer.
>>18043619They never said it was just for a semester
>>18043634No but they did say she's in Japan studying abroad, which implies that there's a time limit on her tenure. Maybe a semester, or a year, or longer.
I support Ivy player. I wish to see her to work hard and to improve her craft as she has the physical attributes. Passion, personality, confidence, charisma and ambition are all within her grasp, but only if she works hard and learns from her seniors.

Wonder why Miyu doesn't do shoots like these anymore.
>>18043727oh even misao is a clone/android/etc. now im curious what the show will be about.
>>18043727I still cant tell them apart
I hope it's not some cringe commentary on AI and the singularity
>>18043737It will be a commentary on the conformity of Japanese society and how Misao wants to break out of it or feels like she is an individual who doesn't fit in with the identical aliens like a classic Tim Burton character
>>18042551If you don't recognize instantly at least 7 of them, you're a fake fan
this is cool. they even made the font look like some alien language.
Imagine the meetings where Misao pitches all these weird sci-fi B-movie angles to Koda and he's just like I want to go home
>>18039361I am American and I cam assure you I an not a shitskin jeetshitter
They say the one you recognize first is destined to be your true love
Haru is not on the poster, so I'm gonna guess she's the protagonist and the "aliens" are the antagonists. It would be weird if one of the aliens is the protagonist since they all look the same and no one stands out in particular
>>18043796guess I got the bee then. maybe I can convert arisu to tag along. probably not.
Haru is in the middle you faceblind autists
The cast list was already revealed, and there was no Yoppy.
>>18036860
Well I'm happy that the only one I didn't recognize was Haru. That means I'm not a pedo unlike most of you
>>18043916no it just means you're autistic
>>18043787I think that might be Miu not Yoppy.
>>18043952Wanna suck my dick, you little faggot?
Am I the only one who thinks she's Chika? They literally have the same facial expression
>>18044001gay and retarded? pick a struggle nigga
>>18044027yes you retard
>>18044153Gay? That's not what your mom thought all those times that she was riding my cock like a cowgirl.
Just make /hype/ and banish Misaofag there.
tjpw fans apparently having the facial recognition ability of chris chan explains so much about so many things
it's obviously hikari noa
Nice to see they got Nodoka back for HYPE3
>>18044231I want to FUCK Haru Kazashiro and I don't care if that makes me a pedo.
>>18044238It makes you an attention whoring faggot who should kill himself
>>18044250What I should really do is tie you up, tape your eyes open and force you to watch as I fuck your mom in every single one of her holes.
worse gimmick than maki schizo
>>18044273You won't be calling it a gimmick when you see your mother butt naked with my penis inside her anus. The only thing you'll be saying is "NO!" and "STOP!"
>>18044301I'm gonna fuck her dead carcass like she's Katie Vick.
>>18044273but it is the itohschizo
>>18043727Wonder how these sell when everybody looks identical.
Also noticed they had two different tops to choose from. One shows more neckline than the other.
>>18043619I don't remember them saying it was just a semester. I thought she was actually attending some university full time
