I've been watching entire Nitro eps on that WCW Vault channel and yeah I can see me getting into WCW at the time. The cracks are more than pasted over, it just happens to have the right product in that specific 96 to 98 time frame, although pre-96 also has attractive features. That 93 match between Flair/Arn and Hollywood Blonds is insanely over.
