I'm the first person you responded to and I actually hadn't seen that but it doesn't surprise me.
I watched Marigold Shine Forever. It was a good show overall. But I saw little things that told me there is a ton of pushing going on there, from giant bruises on everyone to a rookie bleeding on her debut match to other little things I can't quite put my finger on.
And maybe it's an overreaction on my part. Wrestlers bruise. People get busted open. And they're in a do-or-die situation where they have a lot on the line and have to succeed which means going that extra length. But something about it suggested a situation closer to what we might have seen back in the 90s or early 2000s than the comfy training environment we've gotten used to.
I could be wrong. But this is the guy who allowed Act vs Yoshiko to continue well past the point where that was wise.
