The problem with Giulia is that she has absolutely no character at all. Her persona is like a weird combination of Asuka and IYO but without any of the charisma of either. It's weird because she's one of the most flexible Josh is to find a character for due to her mixed heritage. I would have gone with an Italian Japanese gimmick and made her a bit more classy. Like elegant fighter. Like a mix of mafia/Yakuza which would be interesting.

Instead she's just there. Can't find her place. Going to the main roster so fast didn't help matters either.

the problem is whenever hhh hires a big name he makes their gimmick "look, thats the big name from the indies" and nothing past that. its why they always end up dimeless unless they start doing their own character stuff like asuka

people are genuinely confused by her being allegedly "beautiful" when she isn't so the gimmick just doesn't work, and she has nothing else for them. I really wonder why WWE picked her up at all, maybe they really thought the joshipedo audience was bigger than it was? It seems like they hated her anyway based on /pw/ and wasn't beloved like Asuka and Iyo (who are also a lot more talented than Giuliua even on their worse days)

this is exactly how Gaytch almost set up iyo to fail. He threw her in with no gimmick at all and she was completely lost in the shuffle. Only after she turned heel she found her Jon Moxley like character that put her on the radar

the title isn't gonna help Giulia. She needs a real gimmick, and an actual memorable entrance music, ASAP
