>>18072454Swerve was on tv for one week and fired the next. Toni was going nowhere fast with the booking they were doing. Just having her get bullied by Charlotte every week. Typical Vince shit. Both are immensely better off in AEW. I would for sure say those are WWE's two biggest fumbles
For AEW though I disagree entirely on Punk and Cody
Punk had to go. You can't keep someone around who's acting the way he was. If you do that only sets the standard for other talent to act that way and they would've been even worse off than they were. Sure he was a big name to lose but it was necessary
Cody even I don't feel like he was a loss to AEW. Their fans wanted him gone. They were never going to buy into the martyr babyface he was deadset on booking himself to be. I've said it so many times. The Cody that exists in WWE could never exist in AEW. It comes down to the fact that he was an EVP there. A guy who books himself and runs the company isn't going to get sympathy unlike in WWE where he's just another wrestler so it works
As far as actual names that AEW has lost that would be fumbles? Mariah May has potential to be a big one. She only just got to WWE so obviously it's too soon to say but I see no reason for her not to be a world champion level name within the next year or two
