Unfortunately, I started watching the night Hogan and Bischoff showed up and never really quit lol. Much like WCW, the midcard (MCMG vs Beer Money) was where the good stuff was.

RoH would have been way more up my alley because I stan for the in-ring bell to bell product but I never could catch their shows on TV consistently.

TNA post-2010 got on a good path after most of the "big names" left, MVP and The Wolves showed up, and they became their own thing. EC3's run was absolutely based, and Corgan's run was outstanding minus the final part where he booked a never ending tournament.

CZW is highly underrated. They've been on life support for the last few years because GCW fucked them over really bad. But, based on what I saw the other day, their content is still good. Next up is Mike Mondo Vs Cyon. Take a look at this hulking brute. Wrestling may be fake but I doubt you would want to fight this guy for real.

After some mat wrestling exchanges, Mondo reverses a sunset flip and nails Cyon with a dropkick to the face.

Cyon with a little bit of showmanship here. I don't know why I like this spot, but I do.

Mike Mondo goes on a rampage but pushes his luck a little too far and pays for it with a Benoit-style concussion.

They did a fakeout here, in which Austin Idol (Cyon's manager) called some help in the form of Frank (the big guy at ringside). However, Mondo manages to get the pin before the big slow fucker can get to the ring.

Ok now for the main event, the US tag title match between the Country Gentlemen and the Southern Six (without Thrillbilly).

That's actually part of the gimmick. It confused me too, at first. Basically, they did it that way so that they can add more guys later if they want. Ricky Morton is the fourth guy and I think the fifth will be Matt Cross.

The Southern Six are utilizing excellent teamwork here. They start with a double dropkick, then a double suicide dive with each one holding the ropes for the other.

And more good teamwork here, with Morton hitting a beautiful flippy elbowdrop thing (I don't know exactly what to call it).

This one came off looking pretty good too

Being completely honest here, I have more concerns about the Roku deal that weren't really explained. Like "what's gonna happen to VOD replays of Powerrr?" or "how the fuck are people outside of North America going to watch it?" Honestly, I want to check out what Corgan is doing but in my opinion, he needs to at least let someone who is more experienced in creative take over. Though let's be real here, Corgan stabbed territory licensors in the back in 2019 and when he did bring them back, the funny thing is, he didn't even bother trying to let the former territories in. I hope things do get better but honestly, I have such little hope that this promotion gets better but if it does, there's going to be an overhaul for how the NWA produces its main product. Maybe NWA 77 might be the start of that but who knows?

Doubt. They fuck it up the same way every year. They make it this two day event 3+ hours each (sometimes 4+) and they just don't have anywhere near the amount of talent needed to put in a good wrestling show for that amount of time. I'd say even one night at 3+ hours is a big stretch as far as their roster is concerned. I don't know why he insists on these two day events when he only ever seems to sell out one of the days so half the PPV is in front of a dead crowd.
The taping schedule is terrible too. Like every 2 or 3 months. And the shows are ages long because they need 2 or 3 months of content from them. So by hour 4 of taping the audience is dead for those too.
