i heard people say that the reason the actors who play the VIPs in squid game are so bad - both in the delivery and the actual dialogue - is so the korean audience can understand them. that made it click why wwe sucks now. it's bad on purpose - homogenized, entirely scripted and phony-looking - because their target audience is literal children, people with down syndrome, and ESLs. say what you want about aew, at least it's written for adults with a higher than room temp iq.
