>>18201960>Doing 2.5 million views on a WORLDWIDE streaming service that has hundreds of millions of subscribers is really bad. Bad relative to what? Broadcast stuff like CSI or whatever is popular nowadays? Sure, but nobody was expecting that. NHL games on cable getting 200,000 or cooking channel shows getting 100,000? How can anything getting in their own top ten not be viewed as huge for Netflix? Not a special like Tiger King or a movie or a pay per view, but a WEEKLY SERIES exclusive to Netflix. This is an absolute game changer for Netflix. 52 weeks a year. Streaming just needs to get more live sports and a few other things away from cable. They don't even need to be in a top 10, but clueless negative people would say NHL on Netflix was a failure without it, blah blah blah.
>The ratings are garbage. Are you confused? We're talking about Raw. There's a wrestlenomics link in here that shows how super successful it is. Easily one of the most watched things on cable or streaming. More watched for the year at this point than last year on USA when it's been trending downward year after year.
>And most agree that WWE went into Netflix during a boom period but that boom period is over.Yet by far a top watched program as it would be with 800,000 weekly viewers. Unlike the NHL or college baseball or skateboarding, wrestling is always in the top for any platform it is on. Yet NHL fans don't whine and complain when regular season games get lower ratings.
