It only makes sense if you're a guy watching women's wrestling because you can gain a wife, if not many wives.

What do you gain/benefit from watching other men wrestle ? Is it latent/repressed homosexuality?

I've also never watched any sport consistently. What do you gain some millionaire puts a ball through a hoop or scores a touchdown? I really don't fucking understand the logic so help me.

Sports is really just another sector of the entertainment industry at the end of the day. Ala Vince coining the term "sports entertainment" for professional wrestling as it blends the two more blatantly.
Also sports is another way to keep the masses distracted and in some ways docile. Part of the whole "bread and circuses" paradigm from ancient Rome.
